A new set for OUTV productions is to arrive shortly at Gaylord Hall. This rather large video production tool (made of wood & steel) will allow students to present OU Nightly, OUr Sportspad and other studio-produced shows against a more realistic backdrop. Prior to the student newscast moving from Copeland Hall to Gaylord Hall, newscasts were produced in a set donated by a Tulsa TV station.
Over 50 broadcast journalism & broadcast-electronic media students work on OU Nightly & OUr Sportspad on a weekly basis during the spring & fall semesters.
We'll be posting pictures (& maybe some video) of the set, lighting, and treatments as soon as possible.
